UMD IO Psychology Master's Program Spring 2027 Online Cohort

The Maryland "M" in front of Symons Hall

Online Cohort Option:

With our Online Cohort option, students can complete the entire program from the comfort of their own space, giving them the freedom to balance their studies with other commitments. Our online program still requires students to attend once-a-week live synchronous classes virtually, which offer interaction with faculty and fellow students, as well as engaging discussions and activities to immerse yourself in the IO psychology. In-person attendance is never required. Classes are held once a week in the evening from 5:00 - 8:00 pm to fit with most working professionals' schedules. All additional offerings of the program, such as career guidance, workshops, applied opportunities, etc. are still available for online students to participate in! Highlights of the online program include:

  • Complete the program online. No in-person requirement.
    • The flexibility of an online program is a huge advantage for working professionals.
  • Live, synchronous classes- once a week, held virtually
    • We believe that real-time interaction between students and instructors fosters a dynamic and engaging educational environment. These live sessions enable lively discussions, immediate feedback, and the opportunity to build your network with like-minded students.
  • Classes are 5:00 - 8:00 pm to allow for flexibility with working professional schedules
  • Career guidance seminars
  • Applied opportunities
  • Spring Admissions - Our next online cohort will begin Spring 2027. You can find more information here about our admissions process.
